Pierre has 15 years of global executive search experience in the Life Science industry. His core focus are senior management functions in Clinical Development, Medical Affairs and Drug Safety. He has established long-standing relationship with key decision-makers and medical executives on both sides of the Atlantic. 

During his career, Pierre has established a European presence for a UK recruitment business focused pharmaceutical physicians. He has also assisted in setting up the Swiss infrastructure for one of the world’s largest recruitment business and opened an office in Basel to service its high-profile Swiss clientele.

Pierre started his career working as an executive search consultant delivering senior management roles globally and is able to bring an international perspective to his work having worked in both the EU and the US where he was seconded to help grow one of his former employer’s subsidiaries. 

Pierre is interested in socio-economic issues, political history and issues around Access to Medicines. He is bilingual (French and English) and widely travelled. This includes working in-country in France, Switzerland, the US and Australia.

Reshma Nanjappa - Director

Prior to joining Life sciences Medics, Reshma worked within internal recruitment for leading biotech and CROs. She was in charge of building teams across the EMEA region, negotiating contracts, vendor management, working with hiring managers up to Board level and dealing with HR issues related to talent acquisition.

This was following several years in executive search and consultancy in Europe, South East Asia and the US hiring purely within the Life
Sciences and medical devices industry; including setting up the medical devices function across Europe within one of the largest recruitment companies in the industry.


Pam has a PhD in Medicine and more than 25 years functional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working with several of the biggest biopharm companies in the world such as GSK, Roche, Amgen. This includes holding director level roles in Research and Development in the UK, US and Switzerland.

Her most recent experience is in Executive Search where she has largely focused on VP and C-level placements. And her first-hand knowledge of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs provides her with a unique perspective and deep understanding of the client needs in these areas.

Pam has an extensive global network of both personal and professional contacts throughout the industry and she is also a trained career coach enabling in depth analyses and matching of candidates’ strengths, experience and values to the client needs.

Pam has also been involved with the UK charity Macmillan Cancer Support and has worked on a part-time voluntary basis for 12 years with a team of dedicated nurses and doctors providing ‘hospice at home’ care for patients in the latter stages of cancer and other life threatening conditions.
